Tamara is a senior associate with extensive experience in a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and project finance.

Tamara's practice has focused on advising corporations on private mergers and acquisitions, including the negotiation of share purchase agreements and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.

She has also represented numerous corporations and financial institutions on the development and financing of energy projects, including advising on financing and project documents. She led the firm’s team advising an international financial institution and other senior lenders on the financing of numerous photovoltaic solar power projects in Jordan.

Tamara also has extensive experience in general corporate work, including advising clients on issues relating to construction contracts, hotel management agreements and IP-licensing-related agreements.

Zena is a senior associate specialized in corporate and banking matters with substantial expertise in transactional work, particularly project finance. She has been -and continues to be- involved in a number of acquisition and finance transactions in different areas, with special emphasis on the renewable energy sector and the services sector.

Zena has had a main role in advising multinational financial institutions on a suite of financings extended to renewable energy projects.

She has also advised a number of project companies developing renewable energy projects in Jordan, represented them throughout the financing process, and advised on local law aspects relating to corporate and commercial matters. Zena has also participated in several acquisition transactions throughout her career.

Mohammad began his practice in 2012 with another Jordanian law firm. Ali Tayeh

Ali is an associate at Obeidat Law, with experience in a wide range of matters including issues arising under or relating to labor law, corporate law, and telecom law.  He is skilled in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various types of agreements including employment agreements, commercial agreements, sale and purchase agreements, construction and real estate agreements.

Lana Maani

In her practice, Lana represents multinational financial institutions and borrowers on the development and financing of a wide range of renewable energy projects in Jordan and advises on local law aspects relating to the project and finance agreements. She also advises companies in negotiating and reviewing different agreements such as shareholder agreements and share purchase agreements on a variety of merger and acquisition transactions.

Lana's experience extends to engaging in due diligence exercises as well as drafting, reviewing and advising on other types of contracts and agreements, including licensing and sponsorship agreements, non-disclosure agreements and franchise agreements.

Prior to joining our team, Lana interned with the IRS at its Office of the Associate Chief Counsel (Passthroughs & Special Industries) in Washington DC. She also gained public interest experience interning with Lawyers Without Borders in Washington DC as well as immigration experience working with Laura Devine Solicitors in their London offices.

Lana is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a graduate of the Notre Dame Law School.

Mo'tasem focuses on litigation and corporate matters. His work includes reviewing and organizing client case files, conducting factual and legal research, preparing documents for legal transactions, drafting statements of claims, lists of evidence and pleadings.
