We have been heavily involved in the financial sector. Our work with Financial Institutions ranges from advising multilaterals on $400 million+ facilities, to representing global banks in $50 million+ disputes. We have advised multiple multilateral, development finance institutions on a number of major facilities, including on the $250 million financing of Jordan’s new airport and the $460 million financing of a power station in Zarqa, Jordan. We have also advised a number of commercial banks on major facilities including the $90 million plus financing of a major real estate project in Amman. Among our dispute resolution activities in the sector, we successfully represented a global bank in litigation claims estimated at around $60 million against a group of companies owned by a Jordanian-based family.
